MBA Career Services Council and Universum Announce Strategic Partnership
PHILADELPHIA (US), July 14, 2011 – The MBA Career Services Council and Universum announced they will be partnering on a number of initiatives moving forward. MBA CSC will become an official partner of the IDEAL Employer Survey, conducted annually by Universum. The world’s most extensive survey of student career goals reaches over 6,000 MBA students at 70 universities annually in the U.S. and over 400,000 university students globally.
MBA CSC is a professional association that provides education and expertise for those in the field of MBA career services and employers who hire MBA students.
“It’s our belief that by partnering with such a prestigious organization, we will be able to expand our reach into a whole new sector of talent,” Jonas Barck, Head of Marketing – Americas, said. “This survey helps students reflect on their future careers and serves to create a higher level of dialogue between students, universities and employers.”
MBA CSC and Universum will join their networks to empower and provide knowledge to both groups. The two organizations will complement each other and by joining together will create one of the most powerful networks of universities and employers.
”We’re excited about the professional connections that will be made as a result of our new partnership. Our goal is to increase outreach to new employer contacts and provide even more benefits to our existing member base, and partnering with Universum will help us achieve that,”said Megan Hendricks, Executive Director of MBA CSC.
The IDEAL Employer Survey is conducted annually by Universum between December and March. The survey asks students about their career goals and expectations as well as their ideal employers. The resulting rankings - Universum’s IDEAL Employer Rankings - represent the most powerful employer brands in the world today as chosen by the students themselves.
By partnering on this initiative, MBA CSC and Universum hope to reach more talented students than ever before and to increase the dialogue between students, universities and employers.
