As a consultant at Universum you will help our portfolio of Fortune 500 clients improve their business performance by developing and delivering employer branding strategies, employer value propositions and communication strategies. This role includes providing leadership and project management in the planning, evaluation, design, development and implementation of consulting projects.

In the role as a consultant you will:

  • Focus on developing consulting services in the U.S., Canadian and Latin American markets
  • Support and enhance employer branding activities, both strategically and operationally, based on Universum’s global service offering
  • Transfer experiences and knowledge about regional trends, developments and client strategies to help organizations improve their employer attractiveness
  • Drive business by supporting clients and the sales organisation with extensive regional/local market knowledge
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual focus groups and workshops
  • Manage multiple client projects, including project identification, planning, execution and client presentations
  • Transform research data into practical and actionable recommendations to drive quantifiable business impact for clients
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data in order to make strategic decisions and recommendations for clients
  • Collaborate with clients and internal departments to develop tailored solutions based on client needs and Universum’s service offering
  • Actively support the sales organization to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process
  • Manage and develop client relationships that result in positive feedback, engagement and repeat business
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and proactively drive improvements
  • Positively collaborate with team members in sales, marketing, consulting and creative to develop innovative strategies and campaigns


We are looking for someone with:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in employer branding, HR or marketing
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese is helpful but not mandatory
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
  • Passionate about the evolving employer branding landscape with an ability to communicate new trends and practices to clients and colleagues
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to generate data-based insights to fold into the strategy processes
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively and seamlessly with an international, remote team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Business-building passion. Being motivated by developing and enhancing existing and future client relationships
  • Experience with researching insights and delivering presentations
  • Experience with client pitching and new business proposal presentations
  • Good knowledge, understanding and experience of qualitative and quantitative market research methods and analysis
  • A target-driven and solution-oriented mindset
  • Intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • An ability to adapt within a dynamic environment
  • Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally
  • Passion for learning new skills and pushing yourself beyond your limits and responsibilities
