Competition Notice – Switzerland

Hi there, thanks for being part of the Universum Career Test!

In order to take part in the Universum Career Test Competition, you must read the Terms & Conditions for Competitions. You will find all of the rules and guidelines on this page.

The question for the competition is as follows:
(ENG): What makes an ideal employer for you? Give your answer in max. 5 bullet points.
(DE): Was macht deinen idealen Arbeitgeber aus? Beantworte die Frage in max. 5 Stichpunkten.
(FR): Qu’est-ce qui fait d’un employeur, un employeur idéal? Dites le nous en 5 points maximum?

Information regarding the competition and the performance

Relevant terms for the competition:
The competition is open to all current undergraduate and graduate students, who completed Universum’s Career Test survey for 2019 in Switzerland and registered upon completion of the survey. Any person not subject to completing the survey is not eligible to participate in this competition. This competition is done in accordance with Universum’s GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS. The participants must reside in Switzerland.

Relevant time limits:
The competition will start on the 1st of November 2018 and will continue until the 18th of March 2019.

The competition task/performance:
The participants need to answer the following question: “What makes an ideal employer for you? Give your answer in max. 5 bullet points”. DE: “Was macht deinen idealen Arbeitgeber aus?” Beantworte die Frage in max. 5 Stichpunkten.” FR:”Qu’est-ce qui fait d’un employeur , un employeur idéal? Dites le nous en 5 points maximum” The answer can include a maximum of 5 bullet points and can be answered in German, French or English. The answers will be evaluated on creativity and conciseness. Twenty (20) winners will be awarded a prize*.

Information regarding how the winner is appointed and the criteria assessed when appointing a winner:
Creativity and conciseness will be evaluated by the jury. The jury will consist of three members: Juan Figueroa, Maria Klebanova and Mélanie Cantrel. All winners need to be unanimously approved.

Information regarding where and when the names of the winners will be published:
The winners of the competition will be announced on April 3rd 2019. The results will be published on the competition’s website, and the winners will also be personally informed over email.

The awards are 20 Amazon gift cards with a respective value of 30 CHF each. The prize needs to be claimed according to the specifications on the Amazon gift cards.

The same terms apply to all participants in the competition. The assessment of the contributions will be impartial, and the competition will be conducted according to the rules that Universum hereby informed about and included in the
