Global Top 50 engineering ranking

Universum has identified the World’s Most Attractive Employers for engineering undergraduates in 2013. Surveying close to 88,000 engineering students at more than 1,300 colleges, the global top 50 engineering ranking is an unprecedented measure of which companies are globally recognized as being ideal employers and are top of mind. The research was conducted in the world’s 12 largest economies between the months of December 2012 and May 2013. The countries included in the research are Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, UK and USA.

Engineering students were asked to choose the five companies they would most like to work for from a list of top employers in each market. The list is founded on the market presence and recruitment activity of each organisation. The engineering ranking is based on how many times the company was selected as an ideal employer. See the infographic below that lists the top employers for engineering students in 2013 and 2012.
