How does hormonal health affect women at the workplace?
In this episode Karolina Löfqvist – Founder & CEO at Hormona, together with our host, Claes Peyron – Managing Director for Nordics & UK at Universum, are talking about how hormonal health affects women at the workplace.
Karolina explains how she, during her former employment as an investment banker, started experiencing issues with her health, including brain fog, weight gain and hair loss. She went to multiple doctors that diagnosed the symptoms as being stress related. Karolina finally got in contact with a doctor focusing on hormonal changes in women and got confirmation that her hormone levels were highly unstable.
The lack of information on hormonal health as well as the opportunity to help more women in her situation, was the reason she founded Hormona.
Hormona is a women’s health company focusing on hormonal health, which today is affecting 80% of all women. During the episode, Karolina and Claes discuss the importance of decreasing the stigma around female health by breaking the taboo and speaking about it.
What kind of solutions does Hormona offer? And how can you as an employer help woman throughout their different hormonal transitions?
