SINGAPORE, November 5th 2015 – Last night Universum were announced as the overall winner in the ‘best employer branding consultant’ category at the Human Resources magazine vendors of the year awards night. Universum came out on top against second place Black Marketing, third place Aon, and other finalists including TMP and Robert Walters.
“For us this is a really special award to win as it’s judged by HR leaders from many of the biggest and best employers, who are the people our solutions and services and tailored for” said Rachele Focardi, senior vice president for Universum APAC.
Human Resources magazine’s vendors of the year has been running for nine years now, and is based on an annual survey of the magazine’s readers. Each year the data is compiled into a directory that helps Singapore’s human resources professionals connect with the best-of-breed solutions providers in thirty different categories, including recruitment, training, and software providers. Only those shortlisted in this survey are eligible to enter the finals.
The awards are highly coveted as they’re rigorously judged by a panel of nineteen c-level HR practitioners from major employers, such as Mitsubishi Electric, DBS Bank, Monsanto, Paypal, NXP and others. The judges assess written entries from all the finalists, looking for those who are innovating, providing the most value to their clients and are performing the best within their space.
“We’re truly honored to have won this award. The whole team has been working so hard and they really deserve this public recognition for all the value they have been adding to our clients and to our industry” said Joakim Ström, managing director of Universum APAC.
Over 350 people from more than 60 of Singapore’s very best HR and talent solutions providers attended the awards presentation, which was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in the heart of the city. The vendors of the year awards is one of the largest of its kind in Asia and is considered by many as the most meaningful award for a solution provider to win.
“Universum has been pushing the envelope with big investments in new tech and social solutions, including several industry firsts. No other company in our space is doing so much. Winning this award means a lot to us” said Karl-Johan Hasselström, chief operating officer for Universum.
